Armourguard Security: Finalists for 2024 NZSA Awards

We’re pleased to announce that several of our Armourguard team members have been shortlisted for the 2024 New Zealand Security Association (NZSA) Security Awards.
Their contributions have not only made a significant impact on Armourguard but also on the wider community. We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and the positive influence they bring each and every day.
Here’s a list of our Armourguard security finalists:
- Monitoring / Communication Centre Operator of the Year: Gurpreet Singh (Auckland)
- Outstanding MSD Placement Candidate of the Year: Richard Agar (Otago) and Thomas Winitana (New Plymouth)
- Outstanding New Product or Service of the Year: Auckland SRT Patrols Team (Mark Sopoaga, Saia Fale, Lisiate Holani, Robert Haffeiki, Danny Ali, Sosaia Vaka, Jagjit Pannu, Kuljeet Singh, Jasbir Singh and Shaikh Shahidullah)
- Outstanding Staff Retention/Culture Development Programme: Dunedin Patrols Team (Tyler Dungey, Gert Earle, Mikade Morrison, Alan Ryder, David Williams, and Richard Agar)
- Patrol Officer of the Year: Wania Lamb (Wellington) and Wayne Niles (New Plymouth)
- Security Officer of the Year: Neil Tomuli & Pule Talia (Auckland)
- Security Trainer or Workplace Assessor of the Year: Quentin Garton (Auckland)
- Specialised Security Services Professional of the Year: Auckland SRT Patrols Team (Mark Sopoaga, Saia Fale, Lisiate Holani, Robert Haffeiki, Danny Ali, Sosaia Vaka, Jagjit Pannu, Kuljeet Singh, Jasbir Singh and Shaikh Shahidullah) and Roberto Rosales (Wellington)
The winners will be announced at the NZSA Security Awards Dinner on Friday, September 20th at 5.30 PM in Auckland. We wish all our finalists the best of luck!
