On Friday 11 September, we joined security professionals from across New Zealand at the New Zealand Security Association Awards. We came away incredibly proud of our people.

Awards are always gratifying, but what stood out to us most was not the trophies. It was the stories behind them.

Two national award winners

Two very different roles, linked by the same commitment to supporting people and delivering a service others can rely on.

Ravijeet Singh

SECURITY OFFICER OF THE YEAR

Ravijeet was named Security Officer of the Year after helping save lives on two separate occasions over the past year.

While the award recognises those extraordinary moments, it is also a reflection of the professionalism, calm judgement and care he brings to his work every day. We are incredibly proud to see Ravijeet recognised on the national stage. His win also marks the sixth time in the past seven years that an Armourguard officer has received the Security Officer of the Year award.

Michelle Butler

ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR

Michelle received the Administrator of the Year award for the outstanding support she provides across our Hawke’s Bay and Taranaki branches, while also supporting Palmerston North. Michelle is one of those people whose work often happens behind the scenes, but whose contribution is felt every day by colleagues, frontline teams and clients.
